Assessments & Billing
· SCIC charges $10.00 per share and $200.00 per connection. Assessments collected by SCIC are used for system maintenance and general operating costs.
· Shareholders are charged the assessment every November 1st. Assessments are due by January 15th. A $10.00 late fee is applied to all unpaid balances.
· Accounts that are two or more year's delinquent are eligible for auction by SCIC.
· A $50 fine is assessed to shareholders that violate current watering restrictions. It is the responsibility of the shareholder to stay apprised of the current restrictions.
Transfer Water Shares
SCIC assigns accounts by using the name(s) listed on share certificates. New owners must have the certificate transferred in order to open an account. Here are the steps to transfer:
1. All shareholders listed on the certificate need to sign and date the back of the original water share certificate in the presence of a notary
and/or include a copy of a death certificate for deceased shareholder(s).
2. Pay the balance owing on the current account.
3. Send your certificate and the $20.00 transfer fee to PO Box 962, Tooele, UT 84074
4. Include a letter stating how you would like the new share certificate to read or fill out the Transfer of Water Shares Form.
Lease Agreements
SCIC will no longer recognize leased water shares unless the proper paperwork is filed with the Company office. Please fill out the Lease Agreement Form.
New Connection Application
Fill out the Connection Application. This application must be submitted with a check for $1,500.00. This is the base price for a connection. Shareholders are required to pay for any other costs incurred during the connection installation. Applications are discussed/approved at the monthly Board of Director's meeting.
Shareholder Account Information
Shareholders are responsible to inform SCIC of changes to their account, such as sale of shares, address, phone #, etc. Please fill out the Update Shareholder Information Form.
Restriction Schedule
Shareholders watering during restricted hours may lose watering privileges. Repeated violations of the restriction may result in the loss of water shares. For scheduling problems call 435-841-9522
Weekend watering restriction starts on Fridays at 8:00pm and goes until Monday 7:00am. No watering is allowed during these times.
Restriction A:
The following restrictions are the zones, days and times by which shareholders must abide or face service disruption for the remainder of the season:Weekend watering restrictions will remain in place. Shareholders are not allowed to water from Friday 8pm to Monday 7am.
Area 1: Homes East of Main St. and South of 200 South
Even numbered homes - Mondays & Thursdays 7am to 10am.
Odd numbered homes - Tuesdays & Fridays 5pm to 8pm
Area 2: Homes North of 200 South and East of Main
Even numbered homes - Mondays & Thursdays 5pm to 8pm
Odd numbered homes - Tuesdays & Fridays 7am to 10am.
Area 3: Homes West of Main St. and South of Vine St.
Even numbered homes - Mondays & Thursdays 7am to 10am
Odd numbered homes - Tuesdays & Fridays 5pm to 8pm
Area 4: Even numbered homes West of Main St. and North of Vine St.
Even numbered homes - Mondays & Thursdays 5pm to 8pm
Odd numbered homes - Tuesdays & Fridays 7am to 10am.
Farm Schedule: A "farm" is considered two or more acres of adjoining land.
Monday through Wednesday 8pm to 7am. Farmers are allowed one sprinkler head for every two shares of water.
Tooele City Parks & Cemetery: Monday & Thursday nights 5pm to 8pm
Schools, Churches & Rocky Mountain Care Center: Wednesday 7am to 6pm and Friday 11am to 3pm
Auction Information
No shares are set for auction at this time.
Replace a Certificate
When a certificate cannot be located and a copy is not on file with SCIC, the shareholder or new owner is required to have an Indemnification Agreement created by an attorney. This is a document that proves lawful ownership of the share.
To replace a certificate, complete the Indemnification Application. Send the application and the $70.00 fee and any wills, trusts, bills of sale, death certificates, and other documentation that are applicable to the share(s) to:

Annual Shareholder Meeting and Other Meeting Information
The Annual Shareholders' Meeting is held annually the first Tuesday in December. Please refer to your annual assessment for more information.
Proxy Voting
Any votes of water shares done by proxy must have permission in writing. All proxy information must be turned into the office at least 5 days prior to the annual meeting. Please use the Proxy Voting Form.
